Mario Loprete

About Mario

Mario lives in a world that he shapes to his liking through a virtual, pictorial, and sculptural movement; transferring his experiences, photographing reality through his filters, refined from years of research and experimentation. Painting was his first love, an important, pure love. Creating a painting, from the spasmodic research of a concept to the final message he wishes to share with the world, was the genesis of his artistic process. But sculpture is his lover, his artistic betrayal to the painting. That voluptuous and sensual lover that gives him new and different emotions, that touches prohibited cords…

      Marcela Meirelles

      About Marcela

Marcella Meirelles is a Brazilian autodidact painter who started drawing at six-year-old. She started her career as a painter at forty-one-year-old and she participated in two personal exhibitions and nine collective exhibitions since. She uses a special technique of acrylic painting on cotton canvas, treated with natural pigments and ironed out, giving the canvas a beautiful ancient-style look. Marcela exploits social themes, placing emphasis on feminist inflections: female carpenters, female African priests, and women oppressed by patriarchal violence.
